Isn’t it a violation of human freedom or rights?

Sweden attaches great importance on human rights and personal freedom. But the recently passed FRA law will do the opposite because it will check people’s emails and messages. What’s the difference between putting a device in your home to hear what you say or see what you do and having such legal surveillance?

It just makes it legal but I think it substantially restricts people’ freedom because one can always be aware that someone is checking or supervising. You have to mind what you write or send out with a sense of fear. Isn’t it?
